Passion & Purpose Coaching

I was on a break in a weekend training called "Evolve Now! Passion and Purpose Coaching" created and taught by Pip McKay.

I stood outside to breathe in the fresh air on a warm summer's day. It was a comfortable day, not as humid as Sydney can get. A pleasant breeze cooled my skin. I looked up at the blue sky and felt the world brighten around me. I had found myself. I had a feeling life was going to get so much better. And sure enough, it did.

I realised, looking back, the things in my life that weren't successful for me had been an uphill battle. I hadn't acknowledged just how much of a struggle I was making things. I accepted my path as a struggle. I thought it was just the way it would be.

I was keeping myself in a bubble of delusion, thinking all I needed to do was to keep taking action. Yet my actions didn't seem to align with who I was. Things felt hard, and no matter how much effort I was putting into my journey, I wasn't getting much to show for it.

The most significant example was in my coaching and training business. From a young age, I was lucky enough to feel a deep yearning for what made me feel alive and full of purpose. I wanted to learn about human potential and then share this beauty with others. I took all the steps to pursue my passion. Yet, I was unable to make it my full-time business simply because of my actions. I was not making much money, so you could say it was more of a passion project. It meant that I was working other jobs, such as babysitting, that had nothing to do with the same industry I wanted to be in.

It was like I had already decided I could not make great money doing what I love. I was unconsciously stopping myself from investing myself and all my energy into it.

Bless my darling website designer, who happens to be a close friend from high school. Over the years, I asked her to change my website repeatedly before I felt I could share it. It was never the website that was the problem. I changed my tagline; I needed a better logo, to get better photos. It just went on and on with why it wasn't ready to be seen. My business name was "Results with Lauren." Looking back now, I know I felt embarrassed about the name. It didn't feel like me, but I couldn't pinpoint this at the time.

I remember one parent of a child I was looking after at my babysitting job, on receiving my business card, asked me, "Oh, so are you a maths tutor?" Oh, dear! "Results with Lauren" came across as a maths tutor. I kept the name. Again, this was a big sign from the universe, yet I remained disillusioned. I couldn't see past what was holding me back.

Fast forward to the weekend where I met myself. All of this was about to change in a liberating and inspiring way. The entire process was enjoyable and empowering, and only years later, did I truly realise how disillusioned I had been. Such is the nature of unconscious limitations holding us back.

That weekend, I learned the three authentic energies that make up who I am. I discovered when I am living in these archetypal energies, I am most passionate, most authentically me, and through them, I contribute who I am meant to be. I learned my soul chose these three archetypes to live through, creating a guided path of self-fulfilment and contribution.

We learned that our purpose is not to do one thing, and only when we find that one thing, to fill up our time with that. But rather, our purpose is to be the most authentic version of ourselves and bring our true self to whatever it is we do. We contribute to others and help the world by pursuing the things we are passionate about with all our unique traits, skills and gifts.

I then discovered my talent archetype, the energy I have become most skilled in and what I specifically get paid to do. Once we discover the three Passion and Purpose Archetypes, we identify the Talent Archetype. Then we discover the order they have inside of us which makes up our genius flow. Our genius flow means when we follow a particular order of these energies, we bring passion to everything we do. Pip McKay created this structure, and these profound coaching processes were informed by her twenty-two-year spiritual apprenticeship in ancient wisdom.

After this weekend, I immediately changed my business name to "Love Life with Lauren", because one of my archetypes, The Lovers Archetype, is all about love, intimate connection, and self-love. I could also quickly develop my tagline and business message when I worked with the energies of my other archetypes. "Inspiring and Nurturing a Happier You" is informed by my Innocent Adventurer, which is all about inspiration. The Creative Nurturer is all about nurturing. Now, beyond a business name and some branding help, this was about truly feeling aligned with who I am and loving what I do. My business is now an authentic expression of me.

I then went on to do the Masculine and Feminine Coaching training where I changed my parental programming. This included resolving one belief I had from my perception of what I observed from my parents: "the man in the relationship should earn most of the money." As a result, my side hustle finally became a full-time business. It has been what I do to support myself financially ever since.

My Personal Development Training Company is called "Intuitive Heart Training Academy" — yes, there is a particular aligned reason for this name too. To me, this work is one aspect of my spiritual understanding and practice. Spirituality means to me a way we stay in awe and in connection with our most true and powerful selves whilst also being connected to something greater than ourselves.
